KCA (UK) has appointed Ryan Campbell as its new Chief Executive.
Ryan is currently Development Director at RAPt (Rehabilitation for Addicted Prisoners Trust) and will take up his position at the beginning of April.
Speaking on behalf of KCA, Chair of Trustees, Elisabeth Hirlemann said: “We are delighted to have recruited Ryan from a strong field of candidates. We were particularly impressed with his specialist knowledge in the fields of drugs, alcohol and mental health as well as his general experience in the not-for-profit sector. He joins us at a time of significant change and we believe he is a perfect fit for our organisational needs going forward.”
Ryan has a fundraising background, and worked as CEO for Age Concern at a regional level before taking up a national post on service development and evaluation. He has served on the board of national charity Mind for a number of years and was recently appointed Chair.
Speaking about his appointment, Ryan said: “I am delighted and privileged to have the opportunity to lead KCA through the next period of its development. KCA is an organisation that is truly concerned about what happens to people, families and communities in the long term. It is able to work with people of all ages who are experiencing substance misuse, mental health problems and other complex issues, in a passionate, outcomes-driven and human approach. I look forward to being part of that in the coming years.”
