Who is the service is for?
KCA’s Young Persons’ Service is for young people between 10 and 17 in the London Borough of Bromley who want advice, information and support around their alcohol/drug use.
What we do
We offer a friendly, approachable service for young people who want to come in to discuss any issues around drugs and alcohol. The service is free and confidential.
How we work with you
A young persons’ drugs and alcohol worker will contact you about an appointment within five days of receiving your referral. The appointment will be fixed for a time and date that is convenient for you. You will then have an assessment, so that the worker can gain a clear picture of what is going on for you and what support you may require. A care plan is then formed, where you sit with the worker and agree some manageable goals that you want to work towards. You are then offered weekly sessions with your worker which will be reviewed every 6 weeks. There is no limit to the number of session you can have.
How to refer
You can call to book an appointment, ask a professional to refer you, or come to our drop in on Wednesday afternoons between 3.30pm and 5pm.
