Live research and evaluation projects
Drink Wise Age Well - an evaluation of the Big Lottery-funded Drink Wise Age Well programme for older people, carried out over five years by a UK-wide academic partnership comprising Substance Misuse and Aging Research Team at the University of Bedfordshire, Napier University, Glyndwr University and Queen’s University.
Amy Winehouse Foundation Resilience Programme - an evaluation of the impact of the resilience programme delivered to pupils, teachers and parents. Conducted by researchers from Harvard University and the University of Bath.
Right Turn – an evaluation conducted by Sheffield Hallam University to understand the impact of Addaction’s Right Turn service for veterans who have substance misuse problems. Funded by the Forces in Mind Trust.
Blackpool Fulfilling Lives - a national evaluation programme has been established in order to assess the impact and results from Fulfilling Lives projects across England. The evaluation team will be gathering evidence, data and learning from the projects throughout the initiative. This will be used to measure the social and economic impact of the investment in tackling the most entrenched and complex needs through services that are better coordinated and person-centred. The MCN Evaluation website will be used as a platform for disseminating learning, findings and evidence throughout the initiative.
HepCATT Study – Addaction is providing two research sites for this important study funded by the Department of Health and led by the University of Nottingham. The study evaluates interventions designed to increase diagnosis and treatment of patients with hepatitis C virus infection in drug treatment settings.
